All News

The Central Community Foundation board, through funds received from Operation Round Up, recently approved a grant of $3,600 to the Agra Fire Department to purchase new self-contained breathing apparatuses. The new SCBA’s will replace the old equipment which is more than 10 years old and not compliant with new regulations. This grant will allow the department to purchase two new SCBA’s allowing new firemen/women to participate in upcoming trainings.

The Central Community Foundation is a charitable organization established by Central Rural Electric Cooperative to administer a program called Operation Round Up®. The Central Community Foundation makes grants available to individuals and organizations throughout Central’s service area from the money donated by Central members who choose to round up their electric bill to the nearest dollar each month.
