United Way received a $2,000 Central Community Foundation grant to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Payne County.

The Imagination Library allows parents to enroll children in the program to receive a free book mailed to them every month until they turn five years old.

All children living in Payne County from birth to their fifth birthday are eligible for the program. If you would like to learn more or register your child, do so at imaginationlibrary.com/check-availability.

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.

Librarian Jordan Stine, United Way of Payne County Director Ruth Cavins, and Library Aid Sarah Roer accept a Central Community Foundation check to help bring Imagination Library to Payne County.
