All News

Mehan Union Church received a Central Community Foundation grant to provide food boxes to residents in December.

“We would like to give each family a fully cooked ham for the holiday season,” said Mehan Union Church volunteer, Toby Tiner. “This grant will allow us to purchase 90 hams for distribution.”

The food distribution program provides monthly food baskets to local Mehan community members.

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.
