Steve Jones was selected to serve as a board member for the Central Community Foundation. 

Jones who resides in Central’s District 4, replaces Janie Carey who retired at the April board meeting after serving on the Foundation board for six years.  

Central Community Foundation board members review community and individual grants that the Foundation receives and determine the approval during board meetings held throughout the year. 

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.
