The Central Community Foundation is proud to support the Luther Pecan Festival with a $2,500 grant to provide free shuttle services for festival attendees. The shuttle will transport visitors safely across Route 66 between the festival’s two main locations, downtown Luther and Couch Pecan Orchard, ensuring everyone can enjoy all of the activities and attractions.
The Luther Pecan Festival, taking place November 8-9, 2025, in downtown Luther, attracts more than 10,000 visitors annually and has expanded significantly this year. The downtown area will host the majority of vendors, while the pecan orchard will feature a Children’s Entrepreneurial Market, petting zoo, games and live music.
“We couldn’t join both venues without a shuttle,” said Dawn Shelton, Luther Pecan Festival organizer and promoter. “We’re going big or going home, we’re building for next year’s Route 66 Centennial.”
Shelton stated that the orchard is allowing the event before their opening day, and will offer pecans, gift baskets, candies and more for purchase at the festival.
The free shuttle service will run continuously between festival locations along Route 66, making it easy for attendees to explore all the festival has to offer.
