Our Daily Bread received a Central Community Foundation grant to stock their Red Pantry, which provides residents with much-needed menstruation products. 

Our Daily Bread is a food and resource center that serves Payne County residents with monthly groceries along with other necessities. 

“Arguably, the most consistent and expensive items needed are menstruation products,” read Our Daily Bread’s grant application to the Central Community Foundation. “The Student Government Association at Oklahoma State University began this program to address period poverty in our community.”

If you would like to donate to the Red Pantry or Our Daily Bread, you can do so on their website at ourdailybreadstillwater.org or at their headquarters in Stillwater. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.
