Resilient Payne County Receives Central Community Foundation Grant

The Central Community Foundation provided Resilient Payne County with a grant for their upcoming Healthy Communities, Healthy Children community action workshop. 

The event which will take place in February at the Stillwater Library will bring together community leaders and difference-makers who are looking at bringing affordable childcare and resources for parents to the Payne County area. 

Resilient Payne County is a nonprofit ran by a group of volunteers who are working to help Payne County become trauma-sensitive, which they believe begins with empowering and protecting children. Learn more about RPC at resilientpaynecounty.org.

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.
