Stillwater Community Center Foundation receives Central Foundation Grant

All News

The Central Community Foundation granted the Stillwater Community Center Foundation $2,500 to help provide an A.D.A. compliant ramp and stairs entrance.

“The new entry will make it easier for residents to access the center and enjoy the many events hosted at the Stillwater Community Center,” said Stephanie Kinder, Stillwater Community Center manager.

The grant will be used as partial funding for the entrance, which will double as a stage for outdoor events. The new addition will be the only A.D.A. compliant

entrance accessible by the main parking lot and is expected to be complete by the end of 2021.

The Central Community Foundation provides grants through the Operation Round Up program at Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Members of CREC can

round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar to help organizations and residents in need throughout Central’s seven-county service area.
