All News

The Central Community Foundation recently awarded a $6,000 grant to Stillwater Mobile Meals to help cover program expenses throughout the year.

Stillwater Mobile Meals provides nutritious meals to elderly and homebound residents in the Stillwater community who are unable to prepare their own meals.

Stillwater Mobile Meals currently serves 100 clients each day thanks to the dedication of the 90 weekly volunteers who prepare and deliver meals directly to clients’ doors.

“We’re extremely grateful for Central’s support,” said Bob Hunger, Stillwater Mobile Meals director. “These funds will help us continue our program and provide nutritious meals to the clients we serve.”

The Central Community Foundation grant will assist with the ongoing costs of food, packaging and overhead costs of the program. Learn more about Stillwater Mobile Meals at stillwater-mobilemeals.org.
